Nano Fibre UK are looking for a Fibre Installation coordinator to help support our UK operations as we scale.

We are a fast-growing company who are committed to offering the best service to our customers from our fibre broadband engineers in the region. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to coordinate and support our engineers and management with the fibre broadband installations and collaborate with stakeholders including our customers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality installations.

This role requires meticulous coordination, effective communication, and a strong understanding of the fibre installation process (Desirable).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct engineer teams to ensure smooth execution of installations in alignment with timelines and quality standards.
  • Allocate and/or assign engineers to specific installation areas. This involves assigning scheduled/rescheduled installations and job routings for the following day.
  • Address complications which may arise pertaining to installations and ensure complications / issues are escalated to the relevant party.
  • Contact the relevant ISP to amend order details in cases where order details were captured incorrectly. Reassign the new installation to an engineer to provision remotely.
  • Develop daily work plans and schedules for installation activities, considering priorities, resource availability, and customer requirements. This involves considering engineers’ work attendance (e.g., absentees) and additional installations.
  • Allocate resources efficiently, including engineers/supervisors to optimise productivity and meet installation targets.
  • Identify and address any challenges or obstacles that arise during the installation process, promptly resolving issues to minimize delays and ensure installation continuity. This involves arranging for additional stock or tools, reminding engineers of van service dates, etc.
  • Monitor installations to ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the process.
  • Maintain contact with the engineers to remain updated on their progress (i.e., arrival time, start time, end time, possible delays, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, including work logs. This involves providing detailed comments on job status, client details, engineer information, start and end time of installation etc.).

Experience required:

  • Minimum two years’ working in a project coordination role or similar.
  • Client service oriented and target driven.
  • Competent in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to meet predetermined deadlines and to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of last mile fibre installations (preferred)
