We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Temp to join our team for a three-month period minimum. This role involves creating a backlog of invoices, requiring a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting. The successful candidate must have previous experience working with accounting software, with knowledge of Sage Cloud being highly advantageous. The ideal applicant must possess exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and create a backlog of invoices for the company.
  • Perform general bookkeeping and accounts-related tasks as required.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure all financial data is accurately entered.
  • Work with accounting software (Sage Cloud experience preferred) to ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Assist with any other finance-related tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout all work processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Experience working with accounting software (Sage Cloud knowledge is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of basic financial principles and processes.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

Additional Information:

  • This is a temporary position for a minimum of 3 months, based at our beautiful, spacious office on a farm in Bergvliet, Cape Town.

Immediate availability preferred.
