We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join Evercam’s Business Development team to support the UK Sales team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible in driving both outbound growth within our current contractor customer base and new business within the Owner/developer vertical with the entire EU (not just UK) as its region of focus. This role reports directly to the global Business Development Director. This position is 100% remote UK time zone.

As Business Development Executive, you would:

  • Familiarise yourself with the construction industry, Evercam’s products, and the value we provide our customers
  • Learn how to qualify marketing generated inbound leads and conduct effective discovery calls 
  • Collaborate with local Sales team and Lead Development to execute outbound campaigns that generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) within specified ICP 
  • Help CS & Marketing nurture and convert existing contacts into new revenue opportunities for sales (SQLs) (ie.convert more leads into new deals)
  • Work to have a variety of personal touches (Call,email,social,etc.) on all leads in your assigned territory using sales engagement tool, Outplay.io.
  • Act as a liaison between regional sales team and Marketing to communicate campaign feedback, content needs, regional events, etc
  • Conduct daily activities, including:
  • Outbound Campaign planning
  • Pre-call research and planning 
  • Make a high volume of calls/emails/linkedin outreach per day
  • Follow-up with previous contacts (nurturing leads)
  • Weekly Marketing, Sales, and BDR team meetings
  • Maintain Zoho CRM records

Requirements

About You:

  • You are excited about innovative construction technology.
  • You have a high level of self-motivation, and an ability to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams from different departments like sales, marketing and customer success while meeting deliverables.
  • You have Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • You are Comfortable Working in a rapidly changing environment where decisions need to be made quickly without losing sight of the strategic goals of the company.
  • You are a Critical Thinker and a Problem Solver.
  • You practice high levels of confidentiality appropriate for a software led company with access to many data streams
  • You like the idea of having a significant impact on the growth and direction of a company.
  • You are interested in a role with potential to progress into Sales or BDR management
  • You are effective in a remote setting

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3-5 Years of business development/sales experience in a B2B professional environment.
  • Previous Saas/Construction industry experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication phone skills, English fluency is required
  • Experience with CRM and email outreach platforms.
  • Outbound prospecting experience.
  • Worked both independently and as a team player.
