Assistant Waiter for Life at Sea – Cruise Ships

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Waiter in taking food and beverage orders from guests
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure all tables are set up properly and have all necessary items
• Clear tables and clean up after guests have finished their meals
• Assist with restocking of supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner
• Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and served correctly
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Willingness to work long hours and on weekends and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry trays and other items up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to maintain a professional appearance at all times
