Role Overview:
As an appointment setter, you will be responsible for driving revenue by selling high-ticket exhibition booths to CEOs, executives, and other senior decision-makers for the International Commodity Summit 2025. This role requires a highly motivated individual with experience in outbound cold outreach, B2B sales, and a proven track record of closing high-value deals. You will play a critical role in expanding our client base, growing business relationships, and closing sales with some of the most influential leaders in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Cold Outreach: Conduct proactive calls, emails, and follow-ups to identify potential leads and initiate conversations with C-level executives and business decision-makers.
- High Ticket Sales: Successfully sell high-value exhibition booths and related services, targeting clients with large budgets and high stakes.
- Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients, emphasizing the unique value proposition of our exhibition booths.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify prospects through research, outreach, and careful analysis of potential client needs.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, address client objections, and close high-value sales deals in a competitive marketplace.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, tracking all sales activities, meetings, and communications using CRM tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
- Customer Retention: Ensure clients are well taken care of post-sale and assist with any upsell opportunities for additional services or future events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, especially in a high-ticket sales environment (selling products or services with high value).
- Demonstrated success in outbound cold calling and lead generation, with a strong track record of turning cold leads into closed deals.
- Experience selling to CEOs and executives, with the ability to build trust and navigate complex decision-making processes.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close high-value sales effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong understanding of the exhibition industry is a plus, particularly selling event-related services (booths, stands, sponsorships, etc.).
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- CRM software experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to track leads, opportunities, and sales progress.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Problem-solving skills to address client concerns and find creative solutions that meet their needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high-ticket B2B sales or selling in the exhibition or trade show industry.
- A strong network within the corporate events, exhibitions, or trade show industries.
- Experience in a commission-based role, with a hunger for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
