SplashOut has an exciting opportunity available for an Admin Clerk (Junior) to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. The Admin Clerk (Junior) will be responsible for assisting the team with the administrative function to achieve all business objectives in line with the SplashOut strategy. The team member will be responsible for data capturing, overseeing workflow processes, maintaining schedules as well as tracking and updating project status within the operation. This person must have excellent communication skills, time-management and attention to detail.

Minimum requirements:

  • 1 year Administration experience
  • 1 year Print experience
  • Experience working on Microsoft Office Suite
  • Pastel Evolution experience or similar accounting software

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and minute meetings.
  • Capturing of Stock Requisitions and Job cards.
  • Accurate and efficient data capturing as required by management and the team.
  • Ensure workflow processes are completed timeously, this includes following up with relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  • Maintain and update the tracker for all projects within the business.
  • Be creative, resourceful and detail orientated, must multi-task and prioritize work with ease in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Raising of intercompany and third-party invoices.
  • Printing and distribution of customer statements.
  • Assist with customer queries.
  • Assisting with queries raised by management which requires extracting source documentation.
  • General admin duties.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as required by management.

People

  • Performance must be tracked by yourself and the onus is place on you to set-up performance review meetings with the Commercial Manager.

Compliance, risk and quality

  • Produce high quality, neat, logical, succinct, easy to follow, easy to understand work.
  • Ensure the above (final version) and other documents are chronologically saved/backed up.
  • Compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
