Full job description
An exciting opportunity exists at BSH Home Appliances (Pty) Ltd for a fixed term intern to start at our offices based in Kramerville, Sandton in January 2025.
Job Specification
1. Accounts Receivable:
- Create and process customer invoices.
- Assist with accounts receivable activities, including monitoring and following up on outstanding payments.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Generate and maintain financial reports for management review.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements.
3. Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into financial systems.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records.
4. Compliance:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Support in the preparation of financial audit documentation.
5. Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
- Communicate effectively within the finance team and with other stakeholders.
6. Ad Hoc Projects:
- Contribute to special finance projects as assigned.
- Assist in research and analysis as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Recently Completed BCom degree or Advanced Diploma with specialisation in the following fields – Accounting/ Finance (must have completed studies no earlier than 2021)
- Excellent English written and verbal skills and comprehension
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Must have advanced MS Excel skills (also proficient with Outlook and MS Word)
- Ability to work both in a team environment as well as independently on multiple projects within project schedules and deadlines
