Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue by closing deals with businesses looking to advertise on Schooldays.ie. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in selling advertising packages who can leverage their knowledge and networks to excel in this role. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be based in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients, focusing on businesses interested in targeting the education and parenting sectors.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, with a focus on advertising sales.
  • Develop and present customized advertising solutions that meet the needs of each client.
  • Negotiate and close advertising deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, content, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, client needs, and competitive offerings to provide insights and suggestions to clients.
  • Outbound calls & email campaigns to be completed on a daily basis

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in selling advertising packages, preferably within digital platforms.
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for closing deals.
  • Experience in the education or parenting sector is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be based in Ireland.
