University Student Application Specialist South Africa Work From Home

Do you have the skills necessary to increase student enrolment at an American online university as a seasoned telesales advisor? You will be in charge of counseling and assisting prospective students and candidates at Nexford University by using outbound calling as your primary channel. Additionally, you will be proficient in using digital platforms like social media, live chat, and WhatsApp to provide prospective students around the world with 360-degree care advice.

Principal duties:

  • Make contact with prospective students or applicants to aid in their decision-making.
  • Respond to inquiries on the college, its programs, or the application process.
  • Ask questions to better understand our students and our programs while keeping in mind the cultural differences between each location.
  • Make an extra effort to see that university objectives are fulfilled and that obstacles impeding enrollment are quickly resolved.
  • Utilize many channels, including phone calls, emails, live chat, and social media, to turn leads into paying clients.
  • Deliver on monthly enrollment goals and weekly meaningful call targets.
  • Keep track of your calls and sales, and record important details in the CRM: Hubspot
  • Collect information that can be used to improve the university.
  • Work together with the international team to boost enrollments and deliver the greatest learning environment possible.

The best applicant will have:

  • 3+ years of expertise in consultative sales through telephone (preferably in higher education)
  • prior knowledge in running social media platforms, emails, chats, and inbound/outbound calls
  • excellent written and vocal English
  • Successfully achieving Telesales targets in the past
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the capacity to manage grievances and keep resilience while working in a setting where KPIs are highly valued
  • High learnability to master our degree programs and communicate them to prospective students Ability to modify customer handling and sales approaches depending on the prospect
  • Maturity and discipline required for remote work
  • Degree: BSc/BA
