Magic Ears Teaching Requirements in South Africa
- Have a big smile, a passion for teaching & love for kids
- Speak English at an idiomatic level
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in any subject, or be a student actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree (must provide official transcript)
- Hold a 120-hour ESL Certification*
- Plus, ESL/teaching experience preferred
How much does Magic Ears pay
The lessons are 25 minutes and their site says they pay up to $26 an hour. However, South Africans get paid lower as they are not native English speaker. The base is $12 an hour if you are not a native speaker. Payments on Native camp pay out every month on the 10th.
