D·engage was founded and is led by MarTech SaaS veterans who have decades of experience growing multiple SaaS companies from the ground up. To achieve our target of growing to a $200 million company within the next 24 months, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative based in South Africa to target businesses across the continent. 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and a strong desire to learn and grow in the sales profession.

D.Engage is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time remote position where you will play a crucial role in driving our sales pipeline and generating new business opportunities. As an SDR, you will be responsible for inside sales, lead generation, and scheduling meetings through various outreach methods including cold calls, email prospecting, and other innovative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential customers for our CxDP products
  • Outreach to potential customers through email, phone, and social media to schedule demos and meetings for the sales team 
  • Perform cold calls to fill the pipeline with prospects
  • Qualify leads based on fit and readiness to buy
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute lead-generation strategies
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities
  • Track and report on progress against lead generation targets
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and company offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong background in sales development.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales processes, lead generation, cold calling, email prospecting, and inside sales.
  • Proven track record of successfully generating meetings and opportunities through various sources.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the digital marketing or advertising industry is a plus.
