Renewals Assistant for Kisch | onsite Sandton

Overview

Are you an individual who pays attention to detail with excellent written communication skills? Do you understand people, systems (Patricia) and priorities?  Are you able to work independently? We are looking for work focussed individual to fill a Trade Mark renewals position in our Trade Mark Formalities department.

The suitable candidate will be an excellent team player who will ensure that all renewal deadlines are met and all admin duties are fulfilled accurately and timeously. 

Minimum required experience and competencies:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Computer literacy a must – Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • Knowledge of Patricia and Elite will be highly advantageous;
  • Good typing and administration skills;
  • Ability to prioritize work efficiently;
  • A strong sense of teamwork;
  • Good attention to detail, as accuracy is very important;
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and/or deadlines;
  • Effective telephone techniques and telephone etiquette;
  • Able to maintain an orderly working environment;
  • Punctual, flexible and reliable;
  • Deadline driven;
  • Good work ethics;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Client focus.

Key responsibilities and duties:

The duties and responsibilities of the Trade Mark Renewals Assistant will include, but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring that accurate and timeous renewal reminders are to client;
  • Ensuring that accurate and timeous renewal and/or recordal instructions are sent to Agent upon confirmation from client;
  • Obtaining General Power of Attorney and/or Notarised/ Legalised Power of Attorneys from client in order to timeously instruct agent to renew trade mark;
  • Ensuring that all actions relating to renewals are consistently updated on Patricia i.e. emails, renewal deadlines, invoices, filing receipts, renewal/recordal certificates, queries etc.
  • Ensuring accurate and timeous invoicing of fees and disbursements;
  • Ensuring that all original documentation i.e. renewal certificate, recordal certificate, letters, invoice etc. is sent to client in accordance with client requirements;
  • Ensuring that all client queries are resolved timeously i.e. invoice queries, general queries;
  • File management, diary and administration.
