We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented PSP Reconciliation Administrator to join our payments department. The PSP Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of financial transactions between Avatrala and various third-party payment service providers.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of payment systems and financial operations, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Reconciliation:** Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions processed through service providers.
  • Reconciliation of PSP Transactions:** Compare transaction records from PSPs with bank statements, CRM, and PSP transactions to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Liaising with PSPs:** Investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Data Analysis:** Analyze transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may require further investigation.
  • Reporting:** Develop and maintain reports to track reconciliation activities and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Communication and Collaboration:** Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information to resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement:** Develop department workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements to reconciliation procedures and systems.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:** Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, monitor potential fraudulent transactions, and maintain internal controls related to financial transactions and reconciliation processes. Escalate concerns to management as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Matric with 2+ years of proven experience in reconciliation administration, preferably in the travel or financial industry.
– Familiarity with payment systems, banking procedures, and financial regulations.
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Logical and data-driven mindset.
– Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficient in MS Excel.
