Marketplace Business Development Administrator for Takealot | onsite CT

This position reports to the Marketplace Team Leader

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meet KPIs by assisting new Marketplace sellers in onboarding on the platform via multiple contact methods.
  • Create value in takealot Marketplace by selling the platform features to new and onboarding sellers.
  • Resolve technical queries.
  • Assisting new sellers operationally, to make use of account growth tools (promotions, sponsored ads)
  • Maintain high service level standards
  • Managing a growth and retention pipeline in Salesforce CRM.
  • Supporting the business in building a growth and retention function in Marketplace.
  • General Salesforce administration and reporting

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferable)
  • Competency in MS Office packages, particularly excel
  • At least 1 year related retail / commerce experience (preferable)
  • At least 1 year related call center experience (preferable)
  • Previous experience in Salesforce CRM or equivalent (preferable)
