Internal Customer Support for Johnsson Workwear | onsite JHB

This role forms part of our state-of-the-art Distribution Centre, employing first class technology, and is an African first for workwear. A Customisation facility has been built as part of our Distribution Centre and is geared to serve our customers with high quality customised garments, quickly and efficiently. The customisation facility consists of embroidery, screen printing, digital printing, taping and alterations. Collaborating with, and supporting our customers is how we show our commitment to growing their brand along with ours.

The Customer Support plays an essential role through providing a brilliant service to our stores, by ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately, timeously and in full by our Customisation facility which is part of our Distribution Centre.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Understanding customer needs and connecting them to the right solutions.
  • Have a good understanding of the capacity and work in progress in the customisation facility.
  • Create a connect between our stores and the Customisation Leader to ensure both stakeholders are aware of anticipated orders. 
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with our stores.
  • Engaging directly with stores around any queries and concerns.
  • Available to work overtime when required.

The experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a similar role focused on looking after customers.
  • Well-spoken with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel (spreadsheets), Word, Outlook; preferably also Syspro and WMS.
  • Experience working in a production environment advantageous.
