Internal Salesperson – Tulisa Park

Job Description

Our company, based in Tulisa Park, is looking for an Internal Salesperson to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to customer queries and complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Accurately capture customer information into the CRM system.
  • Handle both internal and counter sales.
  • Arrange shipment of goods and liaise with freight companies.
  • Compile and send weekly customer sales reports to management.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding the delivery of goods and services.
  • Process and manage sales orders.
  • Prepare quotations as per customer requirements using a costing sheet.
  • Ensure product pricing is updated on SAGE Evolution/Paradigm.
  • Order goods and products daily and assist external sales staff with quotes and orders.
  • Liaise with dispatch regarding order deliveries.
  • Assist clients with technical or sales inquiries and liaise with local suppliers.
  • Handle telephonic inquiries from customers professionally and ensure orders are processed promptly.
  • Cold call to direct market.
  • Assist the sales team as needed.
  • Actively contact customers telephonically on a weekly basis to pursue orders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Pleasant mannerism and etiquette (in person, telephonically, and with customers).
  • Driver’s license and own vehicle essential.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Must have reliable transport.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and skills (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience with SAGE Evolution would be advantageous.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.

Salary

Negotiable, depending on the candidate.
