Inside Sales Representative for NMI | onsite CT (R33 000 p/m)

We are seeking a motivated and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in generating new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships to achieve sales targets. Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager with player-coach responsibilities, you will benefit from personalized coaching and mentorship, equipping you with the skills needed for professional growth and success in the sales field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach, focusing on NMI’s solutions.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of prospective clients, guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to close.
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, clearly communicating the value proposition and benefits of NMI’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage promotional campaigns and events for lead generation.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions within the CRM system.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.
  • Participate in regular sales training and team meetings, sharing best practices and continuously improving sales skills under the guidance of the Business Development Manager.

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the technology and/or payment solutions industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a disciplined approach to managing sales pipelines and follow-ups.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Please note that for this role you will be required to work US working hours and attendance in the Cape Town office is required.

Benefits: 

  • Annual salary of R406,000 – R451,000 depending on experience.
  • 45-hour work week
