Fresh Store Officer for Babylonstoren | Onsite CT

Babylonstoren has an exciting opportunity for a fresh store officer to join our ready-to-eat and butchery team.

Requirements

• A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).
• 3 – 5 years’ experience as a storeman or stock controller in a fresh production environment.
• Good comprehension, ability to adapt, and a fast learner.
• Experience with the SAGE ERP system will be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of FIFO and other stock control practices in a fresh food production environment.
• Formal food safety training would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work overtime, night shift and over weekends when operationally required.
• A valid South African driver’s licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process stock on the SAGE ERP system.
• Recordkeeping, quality checks, adherence to cleaning schedule and stock control in the dispatch, receiving and spice store for fresh production.
• Manage raw materials and final products in the fresh production store.
• Comply with food safety, health and safety, and housekeeping requirements.
• Participate in a workplace efficiency program and comply with housekeeping.
