Executive Assistant to CEO for KG Short Stay | Remote SA (R200 per hour – part time)

As KG Short Stay continues to lead in the UK’s short-term rental market, your role as the Executive Assistant to the CEO is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and supporting strategic leadership. In this key position, you will streamline executive tasks, manage critical communications, and ensure that all administrative and strategic functions are proficiently handled. This role directly impacts our ability to achieve our vision of becoming the UK’s most trusted short-term rental letting agent by supporting the CEO to focus on pivotal business leadership and expansion activities.

Key Results/Outcomes

  • Efficient Time Management: Maintain and optimise the CEO’s schedule to ensure effective management of time, prioritising essential engagements to facilitate strategic focus.
  • Enhanced Communication: Manage all forms of communication, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and professionalism in interactions both within and outside the company.
  • Document and Report Accuracy: Prepare and oversee business documents and reports with precision, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Project and Compliance Coordination: Provide reliable support in managing projects, ensuring all milestones are met, and align with company goals while maintaining compliance with our internal processes and reporting standards.
  • Event and Travel Management: Efficiently organise and manage corporate events and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with logistical requirements.
  • Adaptability: Be highly adaptable, managing ad-hoc tasks and additional projects as they arise, reflecting the dynamic needs of the business.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding Support: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process of new staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration into the company. This includes coordinating interview schedules, preparing onboarding materials, and facilitating initial training sessions to ensure new team members are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.

Must-Haves

  • Self-Starter: Demonstrable ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
  • Private Workspace: Must have access to a quiet and private workspace to handle confidential and strategic tasks effectively.
  • Remote Working Experience: Proven experience in a remote work environment with the ability to manage tasks and communications effectively.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent track record of planning and organising, with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: High computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Connectivity: Reliable internet connection to ensure seamless workflow and communication.

Nice to Haves

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience as a personal or executive assistant, particularly within the travel, hospitality, or real estate sectors, is highly advantageous.

Remuneration and Hours

  • Pay: ZAR 200 – 350 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Hours: Part-time, 10-20 hours per week. Work will be required at least five days a week, with flexibility to manage fluctuating workloads and potential additional projects as business needs evolve.
  • Location: This is a fully remote position based in Cape Town, South Africa, offering the flexibility to work from home.
