E-Commerce Content & Pricing Specialist for Door Entry | Remote SA (R23 000 p/m)
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic E-Commerce Content & Pricing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the development, enhancement, and success of our product lines. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the door entry and access control market, excellent product updating and content writing skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and update our website with all new and existing products.
- Write detailed descriptions of the products for the website.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product updates.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage products for our portfolio.
- Manage and update new prices received from the suppliers.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Timeliness of Product updating: Percentage of products reviewed and updated.
- Pricing: To meet deadlines for price increases to be completed.
- Competitive Analysis: Research to be conducted and then reported on competitors.
- Market Share Growth: Increase in market share percentage for new and existing products.

Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of door entry systems and access control solutions.
- Familiarity with the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
- Expertise in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Understanding of financial metrics, including revenue, gross margin, and cost efficiency.

- Strong product updating and content writing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess product performance and market opportunities.
