Data Capturer for Loot | Hybrid CT

Loot.co.za is looking for a data capturer to join the data team

What would you do:

Make sure that the latest and greatest products are listed on Loot.co.za with full specifications, tantalizing descriptions, awesome images and consistent product data formatting throughout.

You’ll need to work with price lists and data sheets, comb the web for accurate information. To validate and upload product data and images provided by our suppliers and marketplace sellers.

You love the internet, are interested in a wide range of products, and would like a foot in the door in one of SAs leading online retailers.

The thought of spending your days sourcing and manipulating data doesn’t send you screaming for the hills.

We’ll love you if:

Big spreadsheets don’t scare you, you are sometimes described as being a little OCD when it comes to detail and you’re always on the look-out for ways to simplify and streamline processes.

You can manage your time between day-to-day maintenance and ad-hoc projects without becoming fragmented.

HTML knowledge and some image manipulation skills would all help.

You’ll need:

• ● Impeccable attention to detail and a high level of accuracy transcribing data
• ● Advanced Excel skills
• ● To be process driven
• ● To be happy to learn new systems and to dive into whatever task gets thrown at you, as well as learning about the various products
• ● Be logical and analytical
• ● Excellent time management skills and able to work independently and within a team
• ● Good communication skills are vital

Requirements:

• ● Matric
• ● Computer literacy
• ● Knowledge of web-based applications
• ● Excel knowledge
• ● Experience in e-commerce or retail advantageous
• ● HTML knowledge advantageous but not required
• ● Image manipulation advantageous but not required
• ● Own transport
