Customer Support Representative for The Rapid Pioneers | Remote SA (paying R10 000 p/m)

The Role:

We are seeking dedicated Customer Support Representatives to join our team, providing exceptional service via chat and email to our customers. This role is available in both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time (20 hours per week) capacities, ideally combining to achieve 1.5 full-time equivalents (FTEs). The position requires proficiency in written English, experience in customer service, and the ability to work within South African working hours, with a slight shift to accommodate overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via chat and email.
  • Assist customers with product information, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while delivering excellent service.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer support software is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work within standard South African hours, with a shift to start and end times that align with EST (11:00 AM to 7:00 PM SAST).
