CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK for STARKE AYRES | onsite Jhb

Description

  • Processes orders in order of priority and in line with customer requirements promptly and efficiently as per instructions and refers them back to the relevant Depot for dispatch.
  • Refers any orders that are not being able to be processed as per instructions and / or in line with customer requirements back to the National Customer Service Supervisor for further action.
  • Performs add hoc price checks on orders by comparing prices on sales order to pricelist / specials.
  • Refers all orders from customers on the “stop supply” list or whose credit facility has been exceeded to the Regional Credit Controller for a decision regarding the course of action.
  • Ensures a regular and pro-active flow of information with regard to the status of orders in the system to all affected company personnel and if necessary to the customers direct, exercising the necessary tack, diplomacy and professional skills the situation may demand.
  • Attends to queries from customers and regional / national Company sales and customer service personnel with regard to the orders in the system promptly and efficiently.
  • Performs any special task relating to the National Customer Services Department as requested by the National Customer Service Supervisor.
