The Opportunity:

Our team is actively seeking a resourceful and enthusiastic Call Center Agent in South Africa to collaborate with, as a part of our global consulting program

Requirements:

  • A solid background in a similar customer service position is required 
  • Faultless in written and spoken English and Spanish
  • Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • A people person, a genuine helper: empathetic with customer goals, frustrations, and circumstances.
  • Security and privacy-focused; maintaining the company’s privacy and data protection processes is crucial.

  • Customer-centric and business-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable with technology and technical terminology.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; one tiny error could lead to prejudicious repercussions.

Must own:

  • a workstation equipped with an Intel i5 equivalent or newer and 16GB or more RAM
  • a second monitor and noise-cancelling headset;
  • Ensure a high-speed internet connection with an upload speed exceeding 25 Mbps and latency of fewer than 100 seconds.

You will:

  1. Handle Inbound Inquiries: Manage a high volume of customer calls efficiently and ensure smooth call handoffs with detailed briefing.
  2. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and courteously.
  3. Document Customer Interactions: Accurately record customer interactions and transactions in the system.
  4. Assist with Product Information: Offer detailed information about products and services to customers.
  5. Upsell Products and Services: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  6. Build Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong, consultative relationships through effective communication.
  7. Collaborate with a Remote Team: Engage with a forward-thinking, globally distributed team.
  8. Maintain Manager Communication: Regularly discuss feedback and support to achieve your goals.
