About The Opportunity

As the Accounts Receivable Officer, based at our office in Johannesburg, you will oversee the accounts receivable function for Micromine’s AMEE region (Africa, Middle East & Europe), providing essential support to the AMEE Finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, AMEE, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating and sending invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
  • Reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
  • Following up on overdue payments and resolving billing disputes
  • Following up on payments from new clients (before the invoice is generated).
  • Updating and maintaining the clients contact information on Netsuite.
  • Reporting on collections on a weekly basis.

About You

You will have previous experience in similar accounting or administrative roles, ideally within a multinational corporation.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite, including Excel to an intermediate level.
  • Whilst not essential, experience with multi-currency and overseas transactions would be useful.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
