Job Description
As an Operations Assistant at Shiny Rock Polished, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of our operations department. Your responsibilities will include order processing, inventory management, production support, quality control, supply chain coordination, administrative support, and fostering effective communication and collaboration among departments. You will assist in accurately and timely processing and tracking customer orders, maintain inventory records, collaborate with the production team, participate in quality control processes, coordinate supply chain activities, provide administrative support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction. Coordinate with departments and provide regular order status updates to customers.
- Assist in accurately and timely processing and tracking of customer orders.
- Enter orders into the system and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on order status.
- Inventory Management: Optimize supply and inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock and materials, ensuring efficient availability.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Production Support: Assist the production team to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Coordinate schedules, address issues, and track progress for efficient production.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operations.

- Quality Control: Ensure product standards and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
- Proven track record in achieving sales results and targets.
- Flexibility to occasionally work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and available technology, client tracking systems.
- Need to have your own uncompromised internet access as well as working and efficient computer or laptop
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Must be fluent and able to converse proficiently in English
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Experience in sales and dealing with high end consumers
- A knowledge and understanding of value driven selling and relationship sales
