We are a dynamic short-term rental management company offering high-end stays across villas, apartments, and boutique units in Cape Town. We are looking for a Guest Communication Specialist to join our fast-paced, guest-focused operations team.

As a Guest Communication Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for guests throughout their stay. Your mission: ensure a smooth, friendly, and responsive guest experience via WhatsApp, email, and booking platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Handle all guest communication from booking to post-checkout
  • Respond quickly and professionally to questions, changes, and concerns
  • Coordinate with operations, housekeeping, and maintenance to resolve guest issues
  • Provide pre-arrival instructions, check-in guidance, and local tips
  • Manage last-minute requests, early arrivals, and late check-ins
  • Track and escalate issues to the operations team when needed
  • Encourage upsells (e.g. airport transfers, early check-ins, late check-outs)
  • Follow up with guests post-stay and assist with review management

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, guest services, or customer support
  • Excellent written English (French or other European languages are a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask effectively
  • Comfortable working shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Tech-savvy – you’ll use tools like WhatsApp, Airbnb/Booking.com, and internal platfor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R7 000,00 – R12 000,00 per month
