Work From Home Guest Communication Specialist at Cozy Cape Town | R7000 p/m
We are a dynamic short-term rental management company offering high-end stays across villas, apartments, and boutique units in Cape Town. We are looking for a Guest Communication Specialist to join our fast-paced, guest-focused operations team.
As a Guest Communication Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for guests throughout their stay. Your mission: ensure a smooth, friendly, and responsive guest experience via WhatsApp, email, and booking platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle all guest communication from booking to post-checkout
- Respond quickly and professionally to questions, changes, and concerns
- Coordinate with operations, housekeeping, and maintenance to resolve guest issues
- Provide pre-arrival instructions, check-in guidance, and local tips
- Manage last-minute requests, early arrivals, and late check-ins
- Track and escalate issues to the operations team when needed
- Encourage upsells (e.g. airport transfers, early check-ins, late check-outs)
- Follow up with guests post-stay and assist with review management
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, guest services, or customer support
- Excellent written English (French or other European languages are a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask effectively
- Comfortable working shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Tech-savvy – you’ll use tools like WhatsApp, Airbnb/Booking.com, and internal platfor
