Essential:

  • Minimum of a Grade 12 qualification with post-secondary education (or equivalent).
  • Minimum three (3) years’ work experience in an accounting, sales, customer service or related environment.
  • Sound Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Microsoft Word, Excel and integrated systems).
  • Demonstrated strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Co-operative and supportive team player.

  • Ability to multi-task on various inquiries and requests.
  • Strong technical learning ability.

Desirable:

  • Gas Turbine Engine technical knowledge.
  • Secondary Accounting qualification.

How you will be measured in your role:

  •  Prepare and revise detailed cost estimates and invoices.
  • Complete sales orders, posting to MRO.
  • Monitoring and updating engine tracking and DWI details (only when needed).
  • In-house nozzle exchanges (invoices).
  • Repair and return of accessories (invoices).
  • Creating Inspection Packages for Minor work scopes and recording and maintaining open customer PO’s.
  • Managing rental engine transactions.
  • Preparing Customer Sales Force entry documents.
  • Validating Customer details on SA Menu and Sales Force.
  • Loading new Customer Details onto Descartus for screening purposes.
  • Preparing Technical Data requests and submitting to the Compliance Department for authorisation.
  • Assisting the Service Centre department with the opening of order tasks and work orders on MRO, as well as communicating any changes to the client.
  • Arranging and coordinating travel arrangements for employees, this includes flights; accommodation and the like.
  • Assisting Warranty Manager with administration.
  • Client liaison.
  • General administration.
  • Provide assistance and support to the Customer Service Department.
  • Perform all other duties as required to ensure departmental efficiencies.
