Our client, Africa’s largest mobile network operator, headquartered in Roodepoort, is seeking dynamic, sales-driven professionals to join their team as an ICT B2B Sales Specialist (Virtual Sales Account Manager). In this role, you will combine the excitement of acquiring new business with the commitment to building long-lasting client relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include driving new business opportunities, cross-selling services, and maintaining an impressive 90% contract retention rate. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and inquiries in a timely manner. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who excel in both acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships in the telecommunications industry.

We are looking for a highly skilled communicator with excellent relationship-building and negotiation capabilities. The ability to manage your time effectively, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work independently under pressure is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Target Achievement:

  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.

Cold Calling:

  • Acquire new clients through proactive outreach.
  • Upsell and cross-sell to maximize client value.
  • Maintain monthly contact with the customer base.
  • Focus strongly on generating new business.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with assigned and new clients.
  • Maintain and expand the existing client base.
  • Conduct thorough customer account analyses.
  • Regularly service and build client relationships.

Query Management:

  • Identify, address, and resolve customer concerns and queries.
  • Provide feedback to customers within 24 hours.

Reporting:

  • Submit weekly pipeline reports.
  • Provide daily activity and sales reports.
  • Deliver monthly base reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities.
  • Offer plans, forecasts, and insights on customer requirements, business performance, and competitors.

Processes and Procedures:

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all interactions are accurately captured in the relevant systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification essential
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales/Account Management within the ICT Industry, with a proven track record.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and its products.
  • Strong understanding of large corporate client sales principles.
  • Experience with tenders and large account management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
