Scoutnet was established in August 2020 during the height of the pandemic, to take advantage of the forced Work From Home requirements of businesses, especially in the field of financial services call centres. We developed and deployed a secure Work-From -home platform for insurance products and (virtual call centres)which we make available to Product owners and retail client base owners.

We employ only the most modern of technology and trends like Cloud, SAAS, Work From Home, Software defined security and tap into the Digital and Gig economy. The ultimate goal is to have 5000 trained agents and multiple products on the platform in 5 years time.

The business model proved an instant success with first deployment of new generation products and agent platforms becoming operational in November 2020 with A Motor warranty product (AutoEaze). Since then three other products were developed in partnership with Large insurance players like Centriq, and especially with Dis-Chem health being a flagship affinity play. We now have upwards of 100 full time agents and staff with a confirmed availability of another 450 agents ready to accept work.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our growing Medical Insurance campaign team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling medical insurance plans to potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing solutions that offer real value and peace of mind.

  1. Proactively engage with prospective customers over the telephone to promote medical insurance products.
  2. Clearly explain coverage options, benefits, and pricing of different plans.
  3. Qualify leads and convert them into policyholders by understanding individual needs and recommending suitable products.
  4. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions using CRM tools.
  5. Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  6. Stay updated on product offerings, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
  7. Follow up with potential clients to answer questions, handle objections, and close sales.
  8. Ensure compliance with all company policies and insurance industry regulations.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.

Requirements

  • Matric, Clear ITC and clear criminal record
  • FAIS and RE Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance products and terminology is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and sales techniques.
  • 2+ years in the contact centre industry
