This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to producing high-quality pet food. Based in Johannesburg (ideally between Randburg and Germiston), you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the success of a rapidly growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expand Afripet’s market footprint by growing sales within your assigned area/segment.
• Develop and execute client-focused sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging the full support of the Afripet team.
• Represent Afripet at trade shows, seminars, and events, showcasing our high-quality product lines.
• Conduct engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement impactful promotional campaigns.
• Maintain customer information and insights in our Amigo Extranet system for efficient management.
• Assist with logistics and stock control issues when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Location: Must be based in Johannesburg (own vehicle and valid driver’s license required).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales, preferably in the pet food, FMCG, or related industries.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the pet food or broader pet industry will give you a significant advantage

Skills:

• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with proficiency in MS Office.
• 🔹 Education: Matric required. A marketing degree or diploma is a bonus!
