Remote Support Services Associate Job Vacancy in South Africa at Rep Data |3pm to 12am

South Africa Only: This role is a full-time, remote position and is open to candidates who are currently authorized to work in South Africa and reside in South Africa. The shift for this position coincides with US business working hours, this equates to 3pm – 12am SAST from March to November and 4pm – 1am SAST from November to March.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Support Services Associate (SSA) is a key contributor to the mission of Rep Data – providing a reliable, repeatable data collection partner – for life. The SSA will enable the Project Management team to surpass client expectations by providing valuable support. The SSA is an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to successfully support multiple project tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The SSA is on the Support Services team, currently 4 strong and across 2 countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly navigate multiple software platforms to efficiently accept and process support requests.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure seamless project setup, including link testing, generating daily project progress, sending timely supplier updates, managing DIY samples, and handling reconciliation with precision.
• Liaise with suppliers to gather information for quotes and support for ongoing projects.
• Deliver prompt, proactive, and consultative task management to drive project success.
• Communicate project metrics, timelines, and potential challenges clearly and effectively to internal clients through email, Slack, and online video meetings, ensuring transparency and alignment at all stages.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, advanced proficiency preferred
• Strong communication skills in English language required, both written and verbal
• Experience in quantitative market research, or project management preferred
• Knowledge of DIY sampling platforms is a plus
• South Africa Only: Fiber connection with minimum of 20 Mbps speed required. Company will provide UPS for your router and fiber box
