ROCKBlue seeks a Part-Time Fundraising Assistant Manager (South Africa/Zimbabwe)
ROCKBlue is an international non-profit supporting water and sanitation utilities in Africa to improve services for over 20 million people. We’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and collaborative Part-Time Fundraising Manager based in South Africa or Zimbabwe to help lead our growing fundraising program.
Your Role:
You’ll coordinate and lead a committed volunteer team that includes grant writers, corporate sponsorship organisers, donor stewardship staff, and IT/CRM support. You’ll help implement our fundraising strategy, keep everyone aligned, and ensure follow-up on new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the volunteer fundraising team
- Coordinate grant writing, donor stewardship, and corporate sponsorship efforts
- Oversee our fundraising processes and tracking (CRM)
- Liaise with senior advisors
- Support follow-up on leads developed by our senior “rainmaker” Board members
- Help secure funding to expand clean water and sanitation services across Africa
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in NGO fundraising (e.g., grants, corporates, individual giving)
- Team leadership and project management skills
- Ability to work part-time and remotely (flexible hours)
- Based in South Africa or Zimbabwe
- Passion for making a real difference in African water and sanitation
