Skylink supports aircraft maintenance worldwide. We work with large commercial, regional, and military aircraft—yes, the same ones you fly on vacation, that transport cargo globally, and that support military missions. Our mission? To simplify the delivery of nose-to-tail aircraft maintenance materials for clients across 30+ countries.
As a Junior Account Executive at Skylink, you’ll serve as the critical bridge between sales strategy and sales execution in a dynamic hybrid role that acts as the launchpad for our Account Executive career path.
This position combines two key missions: delivering top-tier operational support to ensure our Sales team moves fast and effectively, and actively contributing to Skylink’s sales engine through prospecting, client interaction, and sales execution. You won’t just support quoting and vendor coordination — you’ll also be immersed in the full sales cycle, participating in prospecting efforts, joining client calls, and helping turn opportunities into results.
You’ll work with airlines, MROs, lessors, and militaries to ensure they get the right material support to keep their fleets in the air. Our clients span over 30 countries, and you’ll be working with million-dollar engines, entire aircraft, and professionals from all over the world.

🎯 Job Functions
Sales Support Operations (50%)
- Quote Management: Produce accurate AvSight quotes by due date. Track open quotes, follow up promptly, and flag issues or suggest fixes to close deals.
- Vendor Coordination: Research availability/pricing on ILS, PartsBase, etc.; email/call vendors; recommend best options by price, lead time, and reliability.
- CRM & Data Maintenance: Keep AvSight records (quotes, RFQs, orders) and Chatter fully updated. Log activities in shared Google Sheets and the Master Client List.
- Inbox & Task Management: Monitor the Sales Support inbox; respond professionally; prioritize and clear tasks while keeping teams informed.
Sales Development & Opportunity Creation (50%)
- Sales Process Training: Learn and apply Skylink’s consultative sales methodology—focused on building trust, creating value, and guiding clients through complex decisions.
- Outbound & Inside Sales: Identify and qualify potential clients based on ideal customer profiles. Conduct consistent outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, and phone. Respond to inbound leads with a consultative, value-first approach to uncover needs and potential fit.
- Client Engagement & Support: Attend client calls and internal briefings with the sales team. Prepare agendas, take notes, assist with follow-ups, and help move conversations forward. Learn to deliver executive-level briefings that connect client challenges to Skylink’s solutions. Support efforts to secure second meetings and involve additional stakeholders.
- Opportunity Development: Assist in managing early-stage pipeline activity in the CRM by logging sales activity, tracking quotes, RFQs, and meeting outcomes. Identify stalled opportunities and recommend next steps to keep the sales funnel healthy and active.
- Stakeholder Mapping & Insight Gathering: Research key stakeholders within target organizations. Help build consensus maps and note buying signals
- Pipeline Health Support: Work closely with sales leadership to maintain clean, active pipelines. Flag stalled opportunities and suggest next-step actions

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing or related field.
- 1-3 years in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (B2B preferred), with experience in quoting, sales administration, or inside sales support a strong plus.
- Prospecting & Storytelling: Skilled at identifying opportunities through impactful questioning and presenting solutions that create preference and drive change.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly articulate value propositions and engage clients effectively.
- Organizational & Time Management: Highly organized with strong attention to detail; adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- CRM & Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with CRM platforms (AvSight experience is a plus) and proficient in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
- Self-Starter & Process-Driven: Positive, proactive learner with a willingness to follow procedures and maintain standards and best practices.
- Career Growth Mindset: Motivated to develop into a full-cycle Account Executive role.
- Curiosity & Industry Knowledge: Eager to learn about sales operations and aviation industry fundamentals.
- Consultative selling, ability to navigate complex B2B sales cycles & comfort with long sales cycles is a must!
💰 Compensation & Benefits
- On Target Earnings: $50,000 (Base salary + quarterly commission).
This position is open to both U.S. and international candidates. For international hires, this will be a contractor position.
