We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for an experienced Current Affairs Journalist to join our team. Prepare to provide unbiased and informative content for readers who want to stay up to date on US/world politics, conflicts, global finance, and major events shaping the world today.

What You Will Do:

• Write in-depth articles covering current affairs, politics, world news, and finance;
• Conduct thorough research and analyze complex global events to provide accurate and engaging reporting;
• Develop compelling headlines that attract and inform readers;
• Work in a fast-paced environment, competing with top global publishers to break news first;
• Ensure all content meets high journalistic standards, maintaining impartiality and credibility;
• Identify trending or underreported stories, offering fresh angles and insights.

What We Expect:

• Proven journalism experience, particularly in current affairs, politics, world news, or finance;
• Native-level English skills with excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities;
• Strong ability to analyze political and economic developments and distill them for a broad audience;
• A keen interest in US politics;
• A track record of finding and breaking exclusive stories is a strong advantage;
• Ability to work independently, pitch story ideas, and meet tight deadlines;
• Familiarity with sourcing credible information and verifying facts;
• Newsroom experience is essential;
• Capability to work from 10:00 to 19:00 (Lithuanian time zone).
