RECEPTIONISTS/ADMINISTRATORS

For our Pre-Preparatory and Preparatory Reception Areasto commence duties in January 2026

Herschel Girls School is a vibrant and supportive educational environment dedicated to fostering a welcoming atmosphere for pupils, staff, and visitors. We are seeking friendly, professional, and highly organized individuals to join our team as School Receptionists.

The successful applicants will:

● Greet and assist pupils, parents, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner;
● Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and messages, ensuring all inquiries are directed appropriately;
● Handle pupil attendance, late arrivals, and early departures;
● Operate the intercom system to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and visitors;
● Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining pupil records;
● Support school events and activities as required;
● Provide a safe and secure environment for all visitors to the school;
● Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
● Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively;
● Have a proactive and problem-solving attitude;
● Preferably have previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role;
● Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
● Have basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office software.
