PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO BURSAR

Full Time Post Starting 1 August 2025 (negotiable) Reference: BPA

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and versatile Personal Assistant who has worked for a finance department, with projects administration and operations background.

Key responsibilities

  • Secretarial duties – support the Bursar with all administration duties
  • Take Minutes
  • Monitor lease agreements
  • Manage the Karri App
  • Process requisitions
  • Fixed assets management
  • Ensure ancillary services are monitored and managed effectively e.g. cleaning contract.
  • Projects Administration
  • Parents Liaison
  • Health and Safety auditing
  • Insurance claims and register
  • Vehicle licensing and services

Experience & Qualifications

  • A qualification in Office Management, Information Management, or Business Administration
  • Basic accounting/financial certificate or higher
  • Min seven years PA experience, preferably in a school environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with parents
  • Proven experience in managing confidential information and multitasking
  • Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet
  • Experience with Ed-Admin will be advantageous

  • Ability to set up admin systems and maintain an updated database
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting
  • Must have their own transport
