Part Time Remote Sales Development Representative in South Africa at Garby Disposal
Garby Disposal Services collects trash, recycling, and yard waste for homes across Northern Virginia. We pride ourselves on clear communication, on-time pickups, and premium add-on options like bulk waste removal and extra bin service.
Role Overview
Work a fixed 4-hour block (Monday – Friday, EST). Call current residential customers. Identify usage patterns. Recommend paid upgrades that fit their needs. Log every touchpoint in our CRM. Earn uncapped bonuses for each successful upsell.
Core Responsibilities
- 70 % – Outbound Customer Calls
- — 60 – 80 dials per shift using our power dialer
- — Pattern-interrupt opener, quick needs assessment, offer upgrade, secure verbal confirmation
- 20 % – Follow-Ups & CRM Hygiene
- — Tag dispositions, schedule callbacks, trigger email/SMS sequences, hit daily KPIs
- 10 % – Feedback Loop
- — Record objections, share script tweaks, flag service issues for operations team
Must-Haves
- Clear, confident phone voice; near-neutral English accent
- ≥ 1 yr phone sales or customer retention experience
- Familiar with any cloud dialer / CRM (GoHighLevel, Five9, etc.)
- Reliable hard-wired headset, quiet workspace, ≥ 25 Mbps internet
- Able to work the same 4-hour EST block every weekday
Bonus Points
- Prior upsell work for subscription utilities (trash, cable, internet)
- Google Sheets skills (filters, de-dupe, basic formulas)
- Experience refining call scripts from live feedback
Compensation
- Base: $7 USD/hr (bi-weekly via Wise)
- Upsell Bonus: $20 USD per confirmed upgrade
- Ramp: Hit KPIs for 3 straight months → $8/hr + tiered bonuses
Daily KPIs
- 60 – 80 dials
- ≥ 15 % connect rate
- ≥ 30 % upsell-per-connect
- < 3 % cancellation-within-30 days
- Miss metrics 3 days straight → coaching. Hit them → higher bonuses, path to Team Lead.
