| Minimum Requirements | Requirements:Qualification: Relevant Honors qualification in the field of Humanities, as per the specific subject matter areas to be graded listed below.Relevant subject knowledge in Humanities.Strong attention to detail to ensure fair and consistent assessment.Computer literacy (essential for online marking and administrative tasks).Ability to meet strict deadlines (non-negotiable).Team player mindset with good communication skills.Hybrid work agreement will be dependent on subject allocations – external markers may be required to collect / mark paper-based assessments at the allocated Eduvos campus |
| Duties and Responsibilities | Key Responsibilities:Marking paper-based assessments, to be collected and returned to the designated campus.Marking online scripts via the Learning Management System (LMS).Accurately recording and submitting marks on the LMS.Geographically Restricted Modules (Paper-Based or Online Marking):The following modules require markers to be in close proximity to the campus as scripts must be collected and returned:Psychology 1A (PYGPA1) Online Marking Modules (Not Geographically Restricted):The following modules can be marked online via the Learning Management System:Communication Sciences 1A (HUCSA1)Political Sciences 2A (HUPSA2)Academic English A0 (FPBEA0)Student Skills (FPSSA0)English Literature Studies 2A (HUENA2)Linguistics 2A (HUELA2)Industrial Psychology 2A (PYOPA2)Media Studies 1A (MSMSA1) Visual Literacy 1A (GDVIA1) Visual Literacy 3A (GDVIA3)Timelines (Q1):Application Deadline: 9 March 2025Training Completed By: 19 March 2025 (Mandatory)Summative Assessments Start (Level 2 & 3): 25 March 2025Summative Assessments Start (Level 0 & 1): 08 April 2025Remuneration & Training:Payment is based on the number of scripts marked, according to a sliding scale based on module level (Level 1, 2, or 3).Mandatory training will be provided to ensure consistency and adherence to marking standards. |
