MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
- Develop an understanding of customers’ business and solution requirements
- Gain share of spending across Dell Technologies’ portfolio of technology solutions: server, storage, networking, software, security, and led services
- Run territory and or accounts, including account planning, sales forecasting, engaging cross-functional resources, and working with the virtual teams to ensure alignment across the organizations
- Regularly engage with decision-makers at client facilities in performing primary duties
- Provide sales leadership and experience on large, sophisticated opportunities.
Dell Technologies Sales Specialist Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the Sales of the Brand performance for relevant product set and relevant partner base (focus list)
- Manage Dell Technologies Back-to-Back and Stock & Sell sales of the Brand performance for the relevant product set and relevant partner base (focus List)
- Driving revenue targets through a targeted set of Relevant brand partners, and
- Driving Relevant brand strategy and portfolio within existing and as per the Focus list
- Display key competencies of knowledge re relevant brand programs and relevant portfolio of products
- Quarterly Business Review Session with Relevant brand
- Drive targeted partner development planning and review as per the focus list
- Drive Relevant brand product strategy and overview sessions with Business Partner
- Existing and New (brand-specific) partner recruitment and Development
- On-boarding process re Operational processes within focus
- Build and manage effective relationships with relevant brand team members
- Ensure the satisfactory execution of the aligned business plan in conjunction with Strategic business partners Execs and Brand Managers.
- Demonstrate sales
- Manage partner rebates
- Report opportunity details to Relevant brands on a regular basis (weekly) showing deal progression and pipeline creation using the Customer Relationship Management system
- Ensure that sales targets are achieved and report any deviations with detailed explanations.
- Ensure targeted profit margins are achieved
- Ensure rebate targets are achieved as set out in accordance with sales budgets
- Ensure weekly activities and minutes of meetings are reported to the Brand Manager.
- Ensure productivity reports are submitted to the Brand Manager list.
Marketing
- Engage with the brand in Biweekly, Quarterly, and Annual Marketing Planning sessions with Relevant brands and (Non-Relevant Brand Targeted Partners Partner Enablement (Target, Certifications, growth)
- Execute quarterly Promo and Program planning
- Develop an Account Plan that documents the key sales & marketing strategies and a management system that measures performance and success within the focus list
Administration
- Update CRM and manage opportunities through the lifecycle
- Request and evaluation quotes for submission
- Follow up on quotes
- Follow up on operations responses
- Manage SLA with brand operations
- Managing the deal from start to finish
- Attend training provided by Relevant brand to become totally self-sufficient in the sales of Relevant brand products.
REQUIREMENTS

Requirements :
- Matric
- Min 5 years of experience selling technology solutions
- Extraordinary customer management and strategic selling skills
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions tackle business problems
- Strong communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills, and the ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior management
