The ADvTECH Schools Division leads the private sector in the field of education, contributing meaningfully towards the sustainable development of human capacity in South Africa.

Duties required:

  • Providing support with our Sports Department Administration;
  • Coordinate school sports fixtures, tournaments and events
  • Liaise with coaches, staff, parents and external schools or organisations
  • Manage team registrations, player lists and transport arrangements
  • Maintain accurate records of teams, results and attendance
  • Update and distribute sports schedules and weekly calendars
  • Book and manage sports facilities and equipment
  • Handle communication related to cancellations, changes or updates
  • Support logistics for inter-school matches and sporting tours
  • Assist with organising and running school sports days and special events
  • Ensure compliance with school and league regulations

Competencies required:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and creative
  • Must be able to work collaboratively
  • Must be competent in Microsoft office (excel, word)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement is Matric, or equivalent
  • Computer literacy (MS Office) is essential

Experience:  

  • Minimum of 2 years’ general administration experience in a similar environment would be an advantage
