Magna Carta, a leading PR and reputation management agency in South Africa, seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our Cape Town team. This is a full time in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the smooth operation of our Cape Town office, ensuring efficient administration and organisation.
  • Provide exceptional front-of-house management, representing Magna Carta’s values and professionalism.
  • Proactively service the office, handling tasks such as switchboard management, visitor flow control, and financial control.
  • Manage boardroom bookings, catering, and meeting requirements.
  • Liaise with cleaning staff, service providers, and suppliers.
  • Maintain the reception handbook, stationery cupboard, and office refreshments.
  • Perform PA duties, assist with event coordination, and provide administrative support.
  • Regularly provide feedback on improving systems and processes.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in office administration or management.
  • Proficient in MS Teams and computer applications.
  • Highly organised, responsible, and proactive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, cheerful disposition and a team player.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.
  • Previous PR experience advantageous but not essential.
