The Call Centre & Administration Support Officer plays a crucial role in managing daily operations at our school, ensuring smooth communication, exam administration, and accurate financial record-keeping. This role involves handling call center duties, overseeing internal and external exam administration, managing the online school platform, and maintaining up-to-date accounting records. EXPERIENCE IN A SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Call Center & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and external stakeholders.
  • Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information.
  • Maintain a log of inquiries and follow up as needed.
  • Assist in marketing efforts by providing information on school programs and admissions.

2. Exam Administration

  • Coordinate and manage internal and external examinations (registration, scheduling, and logistics).
  • Ensure compliance with exam board regulations and policies.
  • Prepare and distribute exam timetables and results.
  • Maintain secure handling and storage of exam materials.

3. Online School Administration

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the school’s online learning platform.
  • Assist teachers and students with technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure online course materials and student records are up to date.
  • Monitor student engagement and report any issues to the Principal.

4. Accounting & Financial Administration

  • Update and maintain accurate accounting records, including tuition payments, fees, and expenses.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and reconciling accounts.
  • Handle invoicing, payment tracking, and liaise with parents regarding financial matters.
  • Work with the school’s accountant to ensure compliance with financial policies.

5. General Administrative Duties

  • Maintain organized records of student enrollment, attendance, and school operations.
  • Assist in organizing school events and meetings.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations of the school office.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fourways, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
