We’re looking for a highly creative and driven Social Media Intern with expert-level video editing skills to help us shape standout content across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for visual storytelling, a strong editorial eye, and a hunger to learn what makes digital content perform in today’s media landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Edit video content optimized for YouTube and social platforms.
- Use Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools to craft visually compelling videos, integrating motion graphics, text overlays, and effects.
- Collaborate with the team to develop episode ideas and iterate based on audience engagement data.
- Deliver videos on time and at the highest quality standards, with attention to pacing, tone, and story arc.
- Create thumbnails, shorts/reels, and cutdowns for multi-platform distribution.
- Use analytics to evaluate and continuously improve the impact of content.
- Stay current with platform algorithms, video trends, and storytelling formats—especially YouTube.
What You Bring
- Expert-level editing skills with a strong portfolio (YouTube long-form editing is a major plus).
- Knowledge of YouTube best practices and performance metrics.
- Strong understanding of narrative structure, timing, and viewer retention.
- Ability to work efficiently, adapt quickly, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for social platforms and a curious, data-informed approach to content creation.
- Familiarity with motion design and animation principles.
- Excellent communication, openness to feedback and collaboration.
