AgriSETA, is an organisation in South Africa, has announced two exceptional internship opportunities aimed at empowering young professionals who are pursuing practical experience in the fields of finance and administration.

1. Finance Internship Opportunities at AgriSETA

AgriSETA has announced the availability of two finance intern positions at its headquarters located in Pretoria. This 24-month program offers practical experience in financial operations while promoting professional development within a nurturing work environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities


The finance trainees will provide support to the finance team in the subsequent areas:

  • Liability Management: Supervising the administration of invoices for AgriSETA.
  • Receiving invoices that are due for payment.
  • Administering monthly accruing registers.
  • Expenditure Management: Recording invoices within the accounting system.
  • Addressing enquiries and rectifying payment discrepancies.
  • Assembling payment packages and responding to payment-related enquiries.
  • Audit Support: Acquisition of payment documentation.
  • Facilitating the fulfilment of audit enquiries.
  • Asset Management: Facilitating the processes of asset verification.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • N6/National Diploma in Finance or Financial Accounting (or an equivalent qualification).
  • No previous work experience is necessary, rendering this an exemplary opportunity for recent graduates.

2. Internship Opportunity: Office of the Company Secretary

In addition to the finance positions, AgriSETA is providing an internship opportunity within the Office of the Company Secretary. This position is particularly well-suited for candidates with a keen interest in governance and administrative procedures.

Primary Responsibilities Interns shall:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily administrative responsibilities within the Secretariat Office.
  • Ensure adherence to governance policies and procedures.
  • Sustain and enhance organisational records and databases.
  • Facilitate the coordination of office activities and augment operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Public Administration, Corporate Governance, or an equivalent qualification.
  • No previous work experience is necessary, thereby creating opportunities for recent graduates.
