Full job description

An exciting opportunity exists at BSH Home Appliances (Pty) Ltd for a fixed term intern to start at our offices based in Kramerville, Sandton in January 2025.

Job Specification

1. Accounts Receivable:

  • Create and process customer invoices.
  • Assist with accounts receivable activities, including monitoring and following up on outstanding payments.

2. Financial Reporting:

  • Generate and maintain financial reports for management review.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements.

3. Data Entry and Record Keeping:

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into financial systems.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records.

4. Compliance:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Support in the preparation of financial audit documentation.

5. Communication:

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
  • Communicate effectively within the finance team and with other stakeholders.

6. Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Contribute to special finance projects as assigned.
  • Assist in research and analysis as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Recently Completed BCom degree or Advanced Diploma with specialisation in the following fields – Accounting/ Finance (must have completed studies no earlier than 2021)
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills and comprehension
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Must have advanced MS Excel skills (also proficient with Outlook and MS Word)
  • Ability to work both in a team environment as well as independently on multiple projects within project schedules and deadlines
