3 best places to get customers for your small business in South Africa

Spread the love

Starting a small business is a very exciting prospect of any business person. The the thought of the success potential alone is motivating. However, for every budding entrepreneur starting out, the biggest dilemma that can break or make any business enterprise is, where can I get legit purchasing clients.

Clients or customers that pay you for your service are what will keep your business going. In today’s world, it has become easier to get in touch with your ideal client. This can be through your own following or platform on social media, referrals or through good old fashioned cold calling for leads! Now, if you are not able to use the above mentioned methods to get clients, here are my three favorite tools that I have used in my own personal business to get new business.

Instagram ads

My business profile on Instagram for my service business has less than 10 people at the moment that are following it. I get it there is no need to follow a page that has videos of carpets being cleaned. So it is difficult to build a platform around that. However, through paying for ads, my profile reaches a lot of people whom has been selected by Instagrams AI as possible clients for carpet cleaning. So, give it a try, create an ad using Canva and post the advert. Then follow the boost button to get your ad up and running. Pro Tip… I run my ads with the option of them contacting me directly on Whatsapp. That way, the conversion is much better that when I chat with the potential client on DM.

Bark

Bark is a company that runs its own campaigns to get leads for various businesses. On how Bark works, they say, “Customers find you on Bark and can reach out to you. We’ll also send you all l eads matching what you do. We charge a small fee for each introduction and we give you the phone number and e-mail address of each potential customer so you can reach out.”

The best part about Bark is that they have a money back guarantee. This is great for every small business that is starting out. To sign up for Bark to see what type of leads they have and to get FREE leads to your inbox, please click here

Snupit

Snupit is quite similar to Bark. It gets the leads for you and you have to bid with other pros to get gigs for your business. The credits are quite affordable as they charge R20 for a credit and they always have special offers going on. What I like about snupit is they have legit clients who are ready and motivated to buy. For a small business owner, Snupit also promises to give you your money back
